Help With Getting Pics From Phone To Computer

I'm a computer idiot first off. I got a Moto-Razr and would like to get pics from my phone to photo file on my computer. Uhhhhgggg!! Thanks.

Email it to yourself. Same way you'd "text" it to someone, except instead of a phone number, put in an email.

Or if your computer and phone both have bluetooth, pair the two and send it that way.

You can connect the phone to your computer with a USB cable, one should have come with your phone. Once you have it hooked up go to "My Computer" and it will show up as a new drive. Click on the drive and you will be able to see all of the files in it.

I usually use the email method myself but wondered about the USB port on the side of my Moto-SLVR. Is that only used for iTunes?

Yes, I added "Gimpster" in my phone contacts with the email addy as the phone number. After taking a picture I use the 'options' function of the phone then 'send to' brings up my contacts list or asks for a phone number. I scroll to 'Gimpster', add to recipient list, then send. Takes a little bit to connect to server and shows progress bar in percentages while sending. WHen it hits 100%, it hesitates a little then comes up 'complete'

does your razr have a memory card? I have the krzr and just pull the card out and with the adapter just plug it in to the memory card slot of the 'puter. sometimes the pics are too large to send in an email or text msg.

On my phone their is a "work" option for a number, a "home" option. Their is also a "email" option. When I go into the "email" option it automatically switches to alphabet.

You can also send them directly to a photobucket accound. Similar to emailing.

What is your phone service provider?

youll need motorola phone tools to transfer from a razor to a pc via usb.I think it runs about 30 dollars. or you can email them to yourself.

Letters ... On my phone, under menu (yours may be different) I scroll over to contacts, it gives me the option of number or email to be entered. Some phones have a dual purpose button on them that will bring up the special character or capatalize of letter affects. You normally can tell when you have gotten into this function because Abc or abc will show as a little icon somewhere on your screen. Example, on my phone I depress the * key then the 1 key to shuffle through the different functions.
