help with daughters sled

i got my daughter a 95 indy 500 efi for her first sled. problem is she has never ridden before and i'm afraid she will panic and hold the throttle wide open. i would like to put a governor or something like one on but would also like to have w.o.t. when she gets stuck. any suggestions thanks

tape a block behind the thumb trigger and when she gets stuck take the block off. electrical tape would work good to put it back on after you get it unstuck.

I put several large rubber bands made out of bike inner tube around the grip to limit the throttle for the first few times out. You should need w.o.t. even if she does get stuck.
