Help With Clutch Setup for new 17 pro rmk

I finially got my snowcheck pro rmk but I have noticed its set up for 3-6000k ft. Problem is I ride a fair amout at low elevation in michigan and also go out west. The thing is I dont want to be switching weights all the time and am looking for a good clutch kit that I can just adjust the weights. Ive looked around a bit but get kinda of comfused on what I need. I dont want something that takes a while to adjust also.
I may get the SLP single pipe kit, not sure though. I have looked at their stage 2 setup but im not sure what id need to change to work for low elevation then high elevation or if thats all id need.

Any insight or suggestions would be great.
 
Are you sure its set up for 3000-6000 your dealer must have changed it they come set for the mountains from the factory.
 
There's a tag on it that says 6-8k. Though it was 3-6 till I looked again. Either way I'm looking for something that easy to set up going from low elevation to high elevation.

Swapping stock weights out is a 10 minute job, and just kind of a no bs deal IMO. With the adjustable weights you have to remove them to adjust them anyway so swapping is gonna be easier than swapping and adjusting.



Another option would be the kit from Carls that consists of a dual angle helix and belly buster weights. The helix is run on one angle for stock and if you decide to add the slp pipe sometime down the line you swap to the other angle and run 2 gram heavier than stock belly busters. Also a straight foward setup that will only take about 10 minutes to change when you go out west.

SSI has the magnetic adjustable weights, you don't think you'd be able to adjust them without taking the weights out??
 
For as fast as you can change out weights, don't sweat it, many others including myself have changed them on the hill in just a few minutes.

The magnets go into the side of the weight don't they? If so, not sure how you would swap the magnets without removing the weight first.
 
I have swapped weights plenty of times but I'm not trying to have a bunch of different weights. I'm think a clutch set up for performance and adjustable weights to kind of fine tune it.

I was under the impression it was doable without removing the weights. It's not hard to get your fingers into the windows on the primary.

EDIT: According to SSI, worst case scenario you pull the cover off, but typically they are able to pull the belt and adjust weights from there.

I went the SLP Stage 2 route for this year. I also ride a lot of the UP and go out west. The clutching is nice and straight forward. 2 different base weights to cover your range of altitudes (71g & 68g base weight). Secondary stays the same... I'm not sure what altitude you ride out west but I'm guessing you can make this setup work for you.

So for me to go out west, I'll change to the blue/pink spring, slap in the 68g MTX set, and take out the EGT resistor. Good to go, and the 30min this may take is nothing compared to the loading process and 20hr drive to get out there.
 
Unless they've changed, the Dalton adjustables are set screws you can wind in and out from the heel of the weight, no need to remove them to adjust. Remove belt, collapse the primary, and away you go.
A few minutes and you're done.
 
Just an FYI, they do make adjustable weights you can adjust without removing the weight. they have set screws that go in the center of the weight with an allen wrench through the heel of the weight. Dalton, and Cutler Perf sell them.
