Help. wire on ecu where does it go?

Just put the engine back in and have no idea where this connector goes on the ecu. It is a black/blue and looks to be purple female with white connector. It is from the right side ecu connector when looking from seat. Cannot find a male connector for it.
I know for the left side there is a black/blue-purple but that is for the detonation sensor and it has a black connector.

With the exception of injector wiring, every wiring connection on the sled is one-way...

Do you have a picture of the connector you are talking about?

I do have a couple pics of the general ECU area (of an 06 900) with all connections hooked up, but not very detailed I could post if you like.

Yes that would be great. But it was very dirty inside the connector, possible spare wire maybe?

94FORDGUY is right - every wire connector should have a mating wire very close with the way the wire harness is laid out.....essentially it should be very obvious. There are several connections that dont have mating connectors and most of those are for plugging into Polaris' DigitalWrench (troubleshooting software).

If it was dirty inside the connector, then it was most likely not used... there are several connectors that are blanks.


I believe the factory connector for the Digital Wrench software uses a white connector (2-wire).

OK so maybe it is the connector for the digital wrench? as I can not find one similar to it. It comes out of the ecu on the right side end under where it is circled.

im sure your referring to a 2 prong harness, with a black and purple wiring colors..

Well she's all put together. LOL forgot about a digital wrench connector, was getting worried for a bit that I couldn't find the other part of that wire, thought I left something off or lost a part. No digital wrench thats why within a few hundred miles so never had to use that wire. New mounts installed, original ones are stil great no cracks and not dry so have a spare set front and rear. Just got to put the fluids in tomorrow then can go riding again.

on both my 05's the wires from the stator and 4 others come infront of the oil tank and get squished by the tank, I did move the tank back a bit so it's better.
I also notice the regulator is on the side instead of at the bottom, is this custom or an 06 ?

Zip tie it aned put under ecu. As Guido said,, never mind it. LOL.
