Help!! What to do with my 2010 D8 155

Here's the deal -- all the recent posts about d8 problems have me just about $hitting my pants. I ride my 2010 d8 155 at 9000 - 11000 feet and it rips -- none of the stumbles, bogs, etc that I am hearing about. I only have 300 miles on it and it seems to get stronger with each ride. I have the slp single and can but no other mods. My questions and concerns: do I get the pcv for preventative measures? Do I get rid of the pipe because of possible voided warranty? If I get rid of the pipe and go back to stock, do I have to remap? Do I sell out and start a new hobby? It's really a pisser that all this bs causes so much worry. I know some of you are just going to say just ride it and don't worry about. Easier said than done.

Keep the pipe as you have it now... Buy the PC5 from DynoTec.... Keep your stock crap in case you have to take the sled in for anything.. Yes, it's that simple.

The best thing to do is think about how many D8 sleds are out there, next count how many "you know of" that have had problems, then take into consideration how many on here have had problems, what % of the total number of sleds do you think that is???????? There are way more people out there that have never had a problem then have. The best thing for you to do is ride the heck out of your sled and enjoy it. If you have a problem, put the stock pipe back on and take it to the dealer for warranty. I know way more people that have a good running D8 than a bad one, But I do know some that have had problems and yes it SUCKS. I also know Cats and Doo's that have problems also. Enjoy now and worry about the problems when you have one.

Mine 2010 is the same way, we ride from 6,500ft to 11,000ft no stumbles, SLP single and it rocks. Ride it like you stole it I say.

I am one that is actually having problems.....and if mine was running like yours i wouldn't even consider worrying about it. Like they said before, keep your stock stuff in case you have to bring it in but i doubt you will have to. congrats on a no problem unit!!

I ride my 2010 800 with a slp single from 2700ft to 6000ft and have had no problems at all, sled runs great.I ride with 2 buddys that have updated 800's and they run well with no problems also.

I spoke with my dealer today and service manager had not heard anything about warranty void with SLP pipe. So they are all different.

Add me to list of NOT having issues with my 10 D8 155. I have riddin it to the bar since I bought and it a very fun sled. I will probably get the pc5 since everyone has had great success with it. Might as well unlock another 11hp for 400 bucks! Heck that is cheap. Ride it like you stole it!

At those elevations I doubt you will ever have a problem with yours. THe ones around here that I know of that blew up as far as I know were all at between 2500-3500' on the trail. That's where mine was when it stumbled in the midrange (never had a single problem at higher elevations) and that's where it was when it blew up too.
Just ride it!
If I still had that sled I would definately buy a pcv with autotune, screw relying on polaris' wonky epa approved maps!
