Got a koso single prope egt just wondering if anyone knows what side is best to mount it on pto or mag? Thanks guys

In the old days on the older machines the pto side( #1 cylinder) ran the hottest. In my 08 m1000, according to my digatron, the PTO side still runs hotter. But why buy a guage that only shows one side?

Sorry, I said PTO side runs hotter. WRONG, the mag side runs hotter. Mag side is also #1 cyl. Must have been a long night. Too many.
