Help Tuning With Attitude Box

Hello, I'm going to need to start the tuning on my f7 with 800cc big bore and aerocharger 53, i was wondering if anyone could give me some base numbers to start with, i contacted Attitude Industries, and he didn't know where to start with numbers.

Any help would be appreciated.

start in the middle of all of the modes and just pay close attention to the gauges when you first start... it doesnt your not gonna blow it up if your just quickly cycling throught the rpm and watching the box... if its way to lean, add a few lights. if its rich, better place to start.

with a 53 series aero on an 800 i doubt you will be that high on your numbers as it doesnt really move a ton of air compared to a bigger aero or garrett. also, start base fuel pressure around 38 psi.. should be close as well.

I have yet to hook up my fuel regulator. I don't know which post lines go where and what not, haven't figured out a spot to Mount it either.

Thanks for the help, does one need to start the sled to change the numbers? Or is there a way to change them with a 9v battery like the boondocker boxes?

Who did you get the box from, all the boxes can be programmed differently to add different percentages

if ya can;t get starting numbers...just go real fat and work your way down...and i would take visual readings rather then guage readings through the ranges till ya get what you want...

you cant adjust it very easily w/o starting the sled, if at all.. im fairly certain almost any normal setup flashed into the box doesnt have any settings affecting idle, so as long as your fuel pressure is good and it idles, should be able to punch it in and get ready to play.

That's what i'm thinking i'm going to have to do.

Thanks

I thought so, there was no plug ins or anything like on the boondocker to plug in any accessories. I will set the fuel pressure when i finally get everything mounted up and go from there.

I got it off a guy who used it on his M8.

THANKS! I will definitely use these.

Cheers everyone for the responses! Appreciate it!

Just want to make sure you know that you can not actually (tune) if you will, without putting a load on the sled. The sled will not make boost on a lift.

You arent going to hurt it more than likely, but you will not get real numbers.

Did your buddy's m8 have a turbo kit, who's was it, it is pretty important you know what the programming percentages are.

Yeah, learned the mistake on tuning my big bore on the stand and o out in the field and it need a lot of fine tuning, but it did give me a place to start. Which as nice.

And yes the guy I bought it from had it on with a turbo I do not know the percentages I will find that out ASAP.
