OK here's the deal, any one of these could have caused the problem, but after fixing all of them, I still can't get one cylinder to fire.
First noticed I had a cylinder not firing. Checked the compression and one was 120 lbs the other 95 lbs. So as I start to pull this cylinder I notice the carb boot was delaminated. After I pull the piston and cylinder I notice they are scored. So, I replace both carb boots, and the scored piston and cylinder. Put it all back together and it still will not fire on that cylinder. Keep in mind the engine fires right away on the good cylinder. So now I change the coil, even though it is showing good spark on both cylinders, still will not fire. BTW I tried new spark plugs at least 20 times. So now I try pulling the airbox and shooting starter fluid in the carb of the bad cylinder. I don't think it is a fuel problem since the plugs are wet and smell of gas, but I tried this anyway.
So here's where I am; the bad cylinder still will not fire, it's getting gas (pretty sure), it has good spark, and good compression (reading 110, but should get better after the rings seat).
What's left. What am I missing, any ideas? Oh, BTW it's an 06 Polaris RMK 600 HO.
