Help! RX1 Getting Stuck

I have a friend in our riding group that has a lower geared stock RX1 that he loves, but keeps getting stuck. Is there any set up to the suspension or mods you can do to make this thing work better on the hills and deep powder. He doesn't want to put a turbo on.

Geesh.............where to start?

First off, is it a long track RX-1 which would be an RX-1M?

What to do from there makes a huge difference.

Since you live out west I am going to assume it's a RX-1 Mountain.

There are several things he can do.

1. Buy some 05 RX-1M skis or Apex Moutain Skis.

2. Get a MPI transfer enhancement kit if he still has the stock 151" track

3. Buy a very inexpensive Skidoo 159 x 16 wide track. It will fit the stock drivers and going to 16" wide makes a huge difference in floatation.

4. Raise the handle bars so he can get up off the seat.

5. Clutching............ is he still using the stock clutch weights? If so, there are so many better choices............

6. Gearing..........?

7. I'll stop here for now and see what I learn from here.

Put a turbo on it, stay on the trails, loose 100 pounds, new track, skis help to or just buy a good used 2 stroke.

Simmons Ski Gen I or II are a huge improvement over stock for this sled. I also put on a Series IV 159 X 2 1/4 track with extroverts and an MPI tunnel extension on the one I have, made a huge difference for me...
