Connie Renfro, a local gal from up here, is in an "extreme huntress" competition. She hunts with a long bow that she carved by hand, and has taken mtn lion, bear, elk... she's a badazz!!!
She's in 2nd place in a competition held by Tahoe films (yeah, the sled film company) and a win would allow her to go on a hunt in British Columbia, pretty cool.
