HELP?? New sled troubles

My buddy just got his 09' 600 switchback, he put about 70 miles on it...xmass day he started the sled and ran it down the ditch and back, it started to lag. now when you run it wide open it only does about 30 mph, his dealer changed the plugs and said it was from giving it gas while trying to start it...its electric start and efi, is this all the problem or any other suggestions

Uh, no. If it won't go over 30mph it has something wrong other than giving it some gas while starting it.

If it's the EFI sled they should be able to hook it up to the digital wrench software and get the diagnostic codes out of it.
