help me i got stator issues???

i have an 01 polaris 800 RMK that i am only getting 6-8 volts ac right before the voltage regulator but however my engine will run fine. resulting in no accessories...... stator??????

Mine did that also when I started checking stuff out I found a melted grip htr,A shorted grip htr. So check all wireing.

i unplugged all of the handle bar plugs and still got 6 at idel and 9 at rev so ill look for some other shorts... i un plugged the yellow and brom plug right at the stator and got 0 voltage till i plugged it back in.... i need to isolate just that surcit and find out if the stator its self is working... is the brown a ground?

Find the wires coming out of the stator check the ohms y to brn 0.15,grn to blk/r 15 ohms,grn to ground open, grn to red 15 ohms,w to w/r 185 ohms,brn is ground

Unplug the voltage regulator and check again But don't let it run for to long as you will burn out all your lights but this will tell you if it is the regulator or the stator. Ussually if the stator is gone it will not give you any voltage. I have the same problem and when I unplug the regulator the volatge goes up. If that is the problem replace the regulator with an arctic cat one. They are better.
