Forget 101 out of Astoria.....SR4 is one lane . 101 north is closed from MP 47 to MP 49.

I think the coast all together might not be smart--it is all flowing that thar direction.

Head up stream--up the columbia and the other side of Hood River by a ways--cut north the Yakima --then up to E-Burg and the store for BEER and then Ice Caps place and just relax---Maybe he will let you ride his cabin sled---LMAO--

Good luck getting home Lee. Is your place okay or do you need some help at your place??

Thursday-Friday ALL routes from the Rose City were blocked. That has changed with Stevens but we decided to fly our guy up. And leave our crew in Yakima overnight with the hopes something will shake free. If nothing does, we will fly the four guys home for the weekend from Yakima. Both air routes were $120 one way. Way cheaper than putting guys up in a hotel and food for 3 plus days.................

Get your credit card out and fly home, fly back to get your rig later, make sure your accountant gets a box of chocolates.

Sounds like you went for the club scene option.
Good luck on getting a flight out of there. I know two people that got lucky and got tickets to Seatac today. Left there vehicles to collect at a later date.
Some rivers are receding at this point but the roads have taken a beating. Not to mention all the avalanche problems.
Enjoy the Portland scene for awhile!

We could even do some international comparison on dance talent up in Castlegar. Just trying to help you find reasonable options....LOL.

I90 westbound is "supposed" to open about noon. Looks like heading up 84 through yakima is your best bet and hopping over snoqualmie when it opens. Stevens is open but With blewitt being closed you have to access it in Quincy.

Made it home, 8 hours 15 minutes going I-5 / I-84 / HWY 97 / I-90.

Dry roads and sunshine from Sprinfeild until I hit the top of Snoq. Pass.
Its a mess up there but you can see that allot of work has been done.

Price Creek snow park was open, not much parking. The trail head is in good shape.
Westbound GC exit (54) is closed but there were rigs parked back there so someone was having a little fun in the bottomless 1" of fresh...

Thanks for the laughs.

I wish I would had taken my sled down with me, today and tomorrow would have been steller riding days.
