If you want a bullet proof sled find an 06 M7. I have over 3500 miles and have not had any issues with it. Just preseason it and ride. Love my M7, also it has almost as much horsepower as the m8 until you get to the HO engine.
Why anyone who wasn't suffering from sort of neural disfunction that prevented rational thought would even consider buying an Dragon 800 RMK is beyond me. I think I've towed more of that sled out than I did the 900 RMK's, and even my own 900 RMK had to be towed back 6 times.

I am torn D7 or M8? D7's are hard to find but so are the 09 M8's. I have some time to look due to the fact we don't have snow.
PROS and CONS between the two? ANYONE? Kim what can you says since you have owned and ridden both? I do know I want to spend 5 to 6500. I want the newest possible and I am set on a 155 but if I get the right deal I might go 162.
How does the 700 run with the 162?

If you're going 700 RMK don't hesitate to pull the trigger, that motor actually worked just fine. I wouldn't buy a 2008-2010 800 RMK at gun point.
The 07-10' 700 Polaris motor and the 07-09' Cat 800 are about the same for peak horsepower, but the Cat 800 motor is more torquey and IMO has a smoother power band, even though its not a very 'rippy' motor. Its a toss up between those two sleds, they're both very good .... just whatever you do don't buy the 08-10' 800 motor

Thanks for all the input I found a deal I couldn't pass up 08 700 RMK with Slp performance kit and clutching. Adding the ARfx "38 front kit and hopefully the alpha x rear skid and after seeing the wrp shotry seat at tri--city today I think I will add that as well.
