This piece of stainless, bent to fit, works for me.

put 2 flowrites in back of air box, on the flat vertical surface next to front of gas tank....about an inch of space there to draw air from, cheap and works in light snow that totally covers the front of the sled

Yep, a buddy put holes in the left side of the airbox and then put flowrites in the panel that goes over the airbox. Took care of the plugging issues.
When will the mfr's learn that a mountain sled needs 2-3 sources of intake air??

Snowman557 I had the same problem with my 163x.I put two 2.5 inch flow rites in the air box under the head light or under the gauges ( still gets cold fresh air from here and doesn't bypass the air sensor ) There is the perfect amount of space for two of them...
