help highlift jack

I am looking for a highlift jack and not able to get in contact with the company. Does anyone know where I can get one. The website does not have correct numbers. Used one years ago and just want to get another one. Just looking for the highlift jack. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Almost every farm and fleet type store has them in stock here in MN. Have you check your local stores?

Edit: Never mind, I was thinking Hi-Lift truck jacks.

Not trying to be rude or anything, but why exactly do you want one of those. Pretty much any new sled(that isn't a Yamaha) comes out with a ski pull or rolling the sled over and your unstuck!!

Just my opinion!

Your not being rude...just narrow minded.

Not everybody that rides has the same physical strength and ability. An injured shoulder or bad back makes getting a sled unstuck a real chore. Or an older rider that may not be able to get unstuck without exerting a great deal of energy...taking away from enjoying the rest of the day.

Having a Jack can change the experience for a rider who wants assistance for whatever reason.

I don't carry a jack..but have been in nasty situations that would have taken hours to get out of...if someone had not come along with one to help rescue my sorry butt.

If your still having trouble getting ahold of Bill at Highlift Jack let me know and I can get you in touch with him.

i purchased a jack last year mostly because I do have a nytro and it is a pig, but last year in cooke some snow caved and a sled fell into a creek depression. The jack saved us a ton of time and effort let me tell you. also i do quite a big of solo trail riding here in north dakota and if i ever get stuck it makes it alot easier since you dont have a buddy to pull on the ski. all in all i would highly recommend once of the jacks out there whether you solo ride or have one in your riding party.

The jacks are the bomb and yes I got one when I had my turbo nytro. I roll my sled over or flip it over backwards to get it unstuck. I couldn't do that with my t-nytro because it would leak oil all over the mountain. I think they would be handy on any sled in the right circumstances. There are times, when stuck, that you can't roll it over or lift the back by yourself and all you would need is a pull. There is also times when it just me and my wife. For all the haters, I would kill for one in these circumstances. It is just a matter of whether you mind packing it. The nytro had wide boards so you didn't know it was even there. Maybe the xm but the pro boards are too narrow. I sold mine but I don't blame anyone for getting one.

I bought mine with my first Apex in 2005/2006 and its mounted on my Pro right now. I don't use it much anymore and when I do its often to help someone else.
There are several times it has cam in VERY handy. The best part is if you get separated or your buddies are all stuck too you can get out of about any situation with a jack and a shovel. Eric

I've never used one, but have a question.

Can it be used to pull with? A pickup style Hi-Lift has a loop on the top of the mast that you can attach to, then use the lift foot to pull from. I would think if the sled version could pull, there would be times that you could pull a sled out of a hole if you had a tree or anchor nearby and some rope.

Thoughts?

wish I would have bought one years ago, would have spent a lot less time stuck and more time riding, not to mention all the energy I've wasted. sometimes you need to ride smarter...

Hello, I just purchased a Powderjack this evening, I have been wanting one for a couple years now, I have been in a few predicaments when my buddies have been stuck on he other hillside or above or below me and led to a bunch more digging rather than having my friend there to just help stomp down the snow and 1 2 3 lift it up a couple times to get it out of its own hole and set aside on the fresh snow.

Now I believe I can get the sled liften by my 160lb self and get it raised even higher and set aside easier, of course this isn`t gonna retire any shovel, Lol.

I just believe this is a very useful tool, If I ever get out with the wife she in no way will be able to lift with her shoulder, she would ride good but lifting is not an option.

Cant wait to get it and try it out.

The jack from "Pitkin Bill" is the one you want, I own both and bill's is worth the extra money. As for the comment above about hi lift jack at the farm/ hardware store that's not what we are talking about. It's a lightweight aluminum jack about 5-6' tall. I bought them when I had my t-nytro, haven't mounted on my pro's yet , but old age is setting in

here's a pic of mine mounted. if you live where you have wet heavy snow I'd suggest getting a better rear bumper. first time I used mine it was trenched in about 3 feet and it snapped the stock bumper. I put a heavy duty bumper on and now I just get it to come up and rock it side to side to side before jacking it the rest of the way up.
