Help choosing goggles for MX helmet

Hey guys,

I am going to try a new helmet setup this year - switching from the full face to MX with goggles (probably should have done this years ago).

A couple of questions before I start purchasing the new helmet/goggle combo - How do I know that a specific pair of goggles will fit properly with my new helmet? Are there certain brands/models of goggles that work with MX helmets or should most ski/snowboard type goggle work?

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Get the 509's. Best goggles for sledding. Ski goggles aren't made to fit over a helmet as big as the mx helmets are.

Have tried them all. Oakley Crowbars are the best. Oakley product quality is far and away the best of any goggle maker. You get consistent results with Oakley products. With others, one pair may be great and the next pair fogs up if you look at them wrong.

509 goggles are the way to go, have 2 pair w/ different lenses for overcast/clear days

I have been using Spy goggles for the last few years and had really good luck with them. In years past i had the blizzard, but this year i got a good deal on a pair of orbits.

The only way is to get the helmet you like and match the goggles.

OR get the goggles you like and match the helmet.

I've had about every pair of goggles known to man. I get about 2-3 a year.

Bought 509's last year and i'll be keeping them. They never fog no matter what conditons and they fit awesome. Plus they look good too

oakly o or m frames with then orange tint dual pain anti for they run like 45bucks or something like that or the wisdoms for 120 to180 or 509 goggles for 75 dollers

You really need to test fit the helmet to your head, the googgles to your helmet, and to your face. What works for one guy will not necessarily work for you, alot depends on the shape of your head and face. Go to one of the shows where you can try on alot of combos.

Had Scott turbos for years but the 509 goggles way out preform them when it comes to staying clear...

I'll be buying them for the family this season...pluss like Sawyer said...they just look cool too...
