HELP! Axys wont start

I just recently powder coated some parts on my axys including the front bumper. I put every back together and the sled started right up. Well the other night i went to start it again and it wouldnt. I grinded the powder coat off the front bumper where the ground is and still nothing. Do i need to get the powder coat off all places where the bumper touches the sled? I cant think of any other reason why it wont start.

Hood is plugged in, sled has 0 miles on it but i'll check the plugs, it acts like its not even getting spark. Its weird, i bet i started it 10 times when i had everything on and ran it for a bit when i put the skid in and then of course when its time to go ride is when it wont start

It really sounds like you missed plugging in an electrical connection somewhere to me. Plugs being wet will tell you if it is a fuel or a spark issue. Pull it over a few times then pull them and see.

Thats what i keep thinking but i havent unplugged anything besides the hood. I will check the plugs, thanks for the help everyone!

My friends Axys did that in the trailer yesterday. Another rider had that happen to him and told my buddy to hold the throttle wide open and start pulling. The 10th pull it fired, the 11th pull it ran. You should not have to do that on an EFI sled, makes no sense but it worked for both of them. My buddy is going to question our dealer about it today.

Really? Im wondering if it fouled a plug. I will try holding the throttle and see what happens. Thanks again

Plugs could be fouled out. There is extra oil in the gas tank, plus the computer is adding "extra" oil during break in. If you have started it 10 times and still have 0 miles this could be "it" because they're not getting hot enough to burn it off. It's a cheap easy thing to check and only takes a few minutes to change. Saves you a trip to the dealer if thats all it is. Other advice here is valid as well. Could be a lose connector. I'd start with the simple things before going to the dealer. If you do, they could have it for a week before even looking at it this time of the year.

That's exactly what I had. I killed myself with a few short starts checking a new can, track alignment, tension on a TKI kit, etc. I get to the staging area for the first ride and it starts second pull so I unload. Once I'm geared up and ready to ride I have no start. Fresh plugs while everyone around me chuckles and I get on my way.

x2 on the tether. I had a factory installed tether that worked fine for a few starts in the garage and then suddenly stopped working altogether literally without anything changing - did move an inch from it's original spot in the garage. put a screw in it and it solved the problem and hasn't been an issue since. Kind of ridiculous for a factory part (with zero miles) but it's an easy and permanent fix so I'm not worried about it.

Replace the plugs, but pull it over a few times with plugs out, this happend to me, i thought it was my tethor at first but it was plugs.

these things are def having issues with fouled plugs.

I fouled a set in the first 2.5 hour break in. It still started and idled but wouldn't rev past 6500.

Rightfully so though...40:1 in the tank as well as increased oil consumption from the oil pump
