HELP 2009 Assualt bogging bad!!

Took the sled out and ran perfect didn't skip a beat first day but second day it kept bogging out bad like it wasn't getting enough fuel.
Did this at all rpm ranges. Put sea foam in it and seemed to work good. Went out again yesterday and ran perfectly again but second day it was bogging out even worse then the time before. Tried a little sea foam again but did not help if made it worse. Hold the throttle wide open and worked just fine but had a lot of trouble even getting the rpms high enough to engage the clutch without it bogging out and sometimes completely dieing. It feels like i am loosing fuel, but when i held it wide open it would go for a mile no problem. then it will about throw you over the bars. I am guessing fuel or an electrical problem.

Thanks in advance

im going to suggest never using sea foam on your sled ever again

Why is that? I have used seafoam in every engine i have ever had and never had a single problem with it. I went to tech school for small engines and that was the prefered fuel treatment.

I have used sea foam on Older vehicles but when your 2009 sled has a bog i cant suggest feeding it sea foam because its not going to solve your issues. I understand how sea form works and what it is, it wont harm anything but its not the solution.

My lights do not flicker so I don't believe its a voltage issue, but not sure why it runs great for a while then runs like crap if it is the fuel filter. But its definitely a possibility. Thanks for the tips so far!

have you checked your top also my hand warmers have been messed up and caused a issue with bare wires

I will definitely look at every single wire and make sure thats not the problem but keep on bringin the tips guys. Appreciate the help!

Had that happen to me last year on my 09 600 out west. Had to bring it to dealer out their. TPS was off and the Throttle switch was bad. Some kind on relay in the throttle. Some kind of throttle control sensor.

Sea Foam freezes. I love Sea Foam, just not in my sled. I have a problem from I believe Amsoil Quickshot. At above half throttle and climbing a mounting, I would get check engine flashing and bog.

freezes? ive never heard of that before i leave it in my unheated garage and have poured it into my sled at -35F and pours like its +35???

Found out it was a wire that was shortin itself out. Ended up having to pull the motor out to find it tho so it took a while but got it wrapped up with electrical tape and heat shrink and now it runs great.

Which wire was it? Do you have any pictures to help the members see what you are talking about?

Andy, I have been having the same thing happening to my 09 RMK 800, which wire was bad? With mine when it would start bogging dowm I can hit the kill switch then restart it and it will run fine for awhile.

Sorry guys I do not have any pictures only because I ended up takin it to a shop just because it was very convenient and it woulda took me a very long time to figure out that problem other wise I would definitely post some pics. I am not exactly sure either on which wire exactly it was but i do know they tried to sell me a brand new harness for a grand instead of just useing two bucks worth of tape and shrink tube. I will see if I can get more info about what exactly wire it was and possibly see if they had any pics of it. Also they put two new plugs in it when the ones that were in it only had an hour or ride time on them, not sure why they did that tho either. Also my buddy took his sled with mine to the shop and thats why I dont know exactly which one it was because he did all the wheelin and deelin cuz I was out of state. But he had problems with the tps not recognizing the voltages from the regulator and his has idle problems.

Hope this helps ya some but i'll try and figure more info out about it.
