Help!!! 2000 Phaser only pulling 6000 rpm

New crank and pistons. Engine runs fine. Lined everything up...so I thought. Clutches were fine when I pulled it apart. Now on the track stand it will only pull 6000rpm...same on the ground.

Wanted to ride in the morning...any ideas.

It sounds like it is only running on 1 cylinder. check your carbs u prob have a plugged main jet, or you dont have spark to 1 cylinder, pull 1 plug out leave it in the cap and pull the sled over slowly not to start it. then repeat other side. if you have spark to both sides. run some carb clean see if that works if not u might have to pull the carbs off and clean them.

I did the rebuild.

I pulled the carbs last night and cleaned everything. Had it running decent so we took it out today. I think it was a combination of crappy gas and a belt issue. It ran pretty well all day but used a bout a tank of fuel in 80km. A leaky carb is the reason for the fuel loss and I am pretty sure it is also why it wasn't up to full. Will fix the carb tonight and give it another go.
