You'll love the VholdR HD and nothing compares for the price. They are tough to come by so if you decided you are interested PM me and I'll get you line up with one.

how long does it go last? im thinking buy a gopro hero. i have a vholdr and i like it. took about like 100 shot of videos for one whole weekend.

can you edit the HD videos of that new helmet cam on a regular computer, or do you have to have special equipment, and does it come with editing software, and how hard is it to edit the videos?

When you say "wide-angle", is that a lens built into the outer case? I've got the Hero Go Pro and like it, wider angle would be nice.

Thanks for the replies. Is there a special program I need to edit the video afterwards or does that VholdR come with its own program?

I have the Epic Stealth Cam.
Very affordable at $150, it is reliable etc, Ok on batteries, but not so great on video quality.
For what I use it for in just sharing some fun times with friends and harrassing the snowless, it's fine and I would recomend it for that, but for quality video, not so much.
It's definately not HD, but like I said, OK for the price for what I do if that helps at all.

You say it eats batteries, how long does a set last? do you need a special program to download it to the computer?

In december, you better have 4 lithium batteries. Spring riding, most times you can get away with a fresh set of lithiums.

I use this one.

Depends on how much you want to spend.

I get 6 hours of non-stop recording on one stick and at least 12 hours of battery life on rechargable batteries.

hey ollie, how'd u like that pov over the winter?
got any footage to show off?

this is the one i was convinced on (pov).
2nd choice was the Vholdr..but read it had some of its own issues too at release.

the point of view of that GoPro cam bugs the hell outta me. either stuff looks WAY insanely steep, or just like the distance is WAY WAY out there in front of u. just feels way unatural to me.

Heres some stuff I just cut and put up. I haven't put any sound to it or anything. I need to sit down and put a video together. One of those, my riding season type of things. Just for the us.

Hopefully these links work.
I actually REALLY like the system. Works great, is easy to use and control on the fly. I have the remote mounted to my handlebars.
