Here it is almost November and the place is deserted. Half the posts in every category are a day old and still on page 1. Did the new face of the forum bum out half the gang? Is everyone too broke to think about sledding? Did I miss a memo and we've moved?

i'm here rev but all i want to do is go flying with you since there is no snow in the valley or the mountains. i did see there is a 100% chance of snow after midnight tonight and all day tomorrow.
Ah yes, we do need snow don't we. I was flying yesterday but you probably wouldn't have liked it. I was looking for leftover potatoes, collecting pine cones, and trying to put a tire on a fish, things pilots do when left alone with a Sunday afternoon to kill.

its weird for the people that have been on this forumn for a long time, you see so many repeat questions from newbies its gets old, its not their fault cause they are new but to us there isnt much new to talk about. and yes this new site isnt as interesting as the old one, maybe we should start our own new forum. lol
Site is way slow, and alot harder to navigate. Pretty much sucks now.
I don't have a problem navigating the site or how fast or slow it is. I just don't find much to keep my interest anymore. Used to be a lot of good information and discussions. Now it seems its mostly silly stuff with the same people responding "cool" to a thousand posts.
Use to be able in a reasonable time cruise all the forumn and be up on every thing now theres just to much, and it takes far to long for me any more. Personally i do not like the make over or the speed at which it moves. I wonder how the advertisers are doing with every thing so scattered and not being looked at.

even thought its slwo, i find myself on a lot, but do other stuff, so i may be logged on for 2 hours but only reading in snowest for say half an hour cuz i get bored waiting for it...

Aside from the speed issues in the evening that are pitiful, I think one reason that there isn't as many radically new topics is because all the chassis the manufacturers are selling have been out for a while. The newest sleds out there right now... the XP and the Nytro are both going into their third year and the Cat and Polaris chassis have been out since 2005. Not that there is anything wrong with running a good chassis for a long time, but it does make discussion about it a little less interesting seeing as it really isn't "New and improved"
If it wasn't for the aftermarket. just consider the topics we would be re-hashing every week.
You can only come out with so many aftermarket seats, tunnel bags, and lighter suspensions before it has all been covered...
I still think that the IQ chassis and the M chassis for example are awesome sleds, but they have been out for so long its hard to try something truely NEW with them aside from watching to see what the manufacturer changes for the next model year to improve and sometimes copy what the aftermarket has had out...

Oh ya, a little snow wouldn't hurt spirits either... it snowed 5" in our mountains last night... its a start
