Helios Light Kits

I've been rocking this light set up for the whole snow season (40hrs)on my ktm 300 and it works great! We go on night rides usually once a week and it's nice to have a light that hasn't let me down. Thanks Iceage for a great product that works.

The season to build is upon us! Time to get your bike setup and ready to rock! Get your Helios Kit on now and enjoy riding day or night!

We have run them on a large variety of Fuel injected bikes, all of which require no stator mod to power.

correct me if I'm wrong however my understanding is the KTM SX 450 only has a 30 watt stator and the light will pull down the battery quickly? I,m just looking for a small emergency light to get off the mountain, not intending riding a night, How small of a light do you offer?

We only offer our kits with the 6" light bars. Just the option of the rigid or cree optics.

As for stator draw, We have run the bar on numerous KTM SX and XC models, 14,15, and 16 without issues leaving them on all the time when the bike is on. It can be problematic if stalling and starting lots due to the lack of charge time and slower charging rate, so you can switch it off, but we have multiple riders who run them for full time night rides without issues.

awesome what is the watt draw?

Having it switched is nice because it's only on when you need it so no issues with drawing battery down.

Less lumens I would say some type of knock off

from my experience a lot of times multiple companies will sell the same light and put different lumen ratings, often very inflated. I had that ebay light on my first snowbike for testing against Cyclops 630. The Cyclops blew it out of the water in output, color of light, beam pattern, and durability.. even though they were both rated "30w". The ebay light also fogged up after being roughed up on my woods bike for a few rides. I was skeptical of Cyclops until I tried their lights.

You hit the nail on one of our biggest concerns with cheaper LED options. Finding a supplier with a cost affective yet quality product can be challenging to say the least. We offer Rigid LED bars for those who are willing to make no compromises. As for the cree option we offer, that looks like a really similar setup to what we run, but again, we have personally seen a bunch of variations of the same light and drastic changes in build quality.

The light we ended up on has identical light output to the Rigid of the same size and rating. Side by side you cannot tell the difference Between the cree or the rigid.

As for water intrusion, this was our biggest concern that we have seen on cheaper lights is bad sealing. I have personally ran them for over 300 hours in the last year and a half in summer and winter. Every time I pressure wash my bike I blast the light from all sides.

Mounting was truely our biggest goal. Dirtbikes are impressive and resilient things that take some serious abuse and we wanted a mount to follow suite. The mount is fully adjustable and can swing the light in a 360* arc around the mounts allowing mounting with a large variety of accesories. These keep the lights solid and in place no matter the abuse you throw at them!

When you have enough confidence to be popping pillows and dropping cliffs in the dark, it works alright!
