My cousin's 07 600 H.O. is somehow getting coolant in the oil reservoir. Leaving next week. Runs fine but it could be on its last leg. Any ideas?? :face-icon-small-dis

No i dont think he has. Would a compression tester be able to check it or do we gotta pull it off??

Nope coolant in the oil reservoir.

What?? think this through... you fill the reservoir the oil gets burned in the motor and ends up in the atmosphere. so unless your friend or his kid put coolant in there by accident i dont see how it got there.. :face-icon-small-con

is it possible for there to be a crack between the two bottles? coolant would be more susceptible to seep into the oil with a hairline crack since it's less viscous and under pressure.

If it has independent tanks/bottles like my '09, It's impossible for the coolant to get in the oil tank unless it's poured in there.

Ya i dont know either. Somehow they musta got it in there. I have no clue but whatever its all Straight now. Thanks for all the info. I didnt think it was possible through the motor because of the oil pump. Thanks again haha

Sorry to Hi-jack BUT Red how would you rate your Boyeseen Rage Cage? Worth it or not .

I liked the way that she screams but its an 860 also :face-icon-small-ton. I personally have nothing to really compare it to because everything was done at 0 miles even though I have ridden my cousins stock 09 my 860 will pull your arms off and felt crisper on the throttle. The one thing that is better than stock is that the intake boots are gone so there is no more cracked intake boots
