heavy hitters

I'm wondering if anyone is running the Heavy Hitter weights in there M8 with the SLP pipe kit instead of the MTX weights? They sound like the same idea but with more ajustability.

I have some on the way for my D8 as well. You are correct in thinking they are similar although more adjustable.
One of the biggest advantages is the ability to tune the weight near the pivot area to control engagement.
The added weight is also more centralized under the arm so there is no worry of being unbalanced from side to side or having clearance issues. This should help with bushing life. No rivets to smash either and with the weight being located on the bottom side they have a greater effect on push and pull (up shift and back shift). rather than spread out to the sides of the weight. These also have a more aggressive profile than standard weights.
I've run the MTX's before too with no complaints or issues. Just like to try new stuff. And these seem like the better deal to me.
