Heat tape question

So i was goin to pull the foam off in the inner side and use heat tape.

What heat tape are you guys using and where did you get it from?

Do you think foil tape will be good enough?

I used the foil tape from home depot and have never had a problem.

I sue the regular foil most of the time, but Design Engineering inc's cool tape on most areas. Its like 20 bucks a role, but protects up to 1500 degrees.

Thats what I normally use on most areas, anything really close to the pipe I try to use the fiberglass backed foil tape.

I did the same, just the stuff from the local building supply store and it works good.

I also used the foil tape from Home Depot/Ace/True Value.About 4 bucks if I remember right,enough to do 1 sled at least.Got almost 2000 miles on it no problems.
