Dan, do you know the rout they are taking? I am headed out to bring our stuff home before the wife pops out the twins and going to ride saturday.

Well, from what I know in past years most were shuttled up to Greenrock and came down Barber Lake Road and drew cards on the way. I understand that the shuttle service is not being offered this year and the cards will be drawn in Centennial itself. Might make our wonderful parking situation even more fun on Saturday, guess we'll see.

I heard about that from Myra at Old Corral. Do they all park at Greenrock? If so, that WILL be a zoo. Right now though I'm just hoping to make it there tomorrow night given the weather forecast.

In the past most parked in Centennial and shuttled up in vans, doesn't sound like that's happening this year. I really have no idea how they'll work it, but the cynic in me says it'll be a cluster. Hope I'm wrong!

In reading a story in the Boomerang, I think they changed it up this year. Can't find the story but here is blurb from the Centennial Library site:

26th--Murf the Surf's "Round the Town" Poker Run Registration at the Trading Post from 10 AM to 2 PM. Registration fee $15; cards handed out at The Mountain View Historic Hotel, the Old Corral, The Friendly Store, and the Beartree; there will be no checkpoints on the cross country ski trails above Centennial. Skiing is encouraged but there will be no shuttles to the trail. Transportation will need to be planned ahead, and carpooling is encouraged. There will be prizes for the best poker hands, Murf's BBQ, IN2IT will play at 4 PM at the Trading Post.

So who knows what will happen up there now!

Good grief. I'm starting to think we should relocate to the Saratoga side for the weekend, but it might be too late for taht.

Hopefully the weather will discourage some of them! Parking will be horrible I'm sure! Thanks for the heads up Dan!

We're staying at the Old Corral which I understand will be full of skiers. Should I be sporting my 'trees are for traction not for hugging' t-shirt?

I would roll with the "Tree Huggers Suck" shirt....then swing over to the Trading Post and demand great service.

Run around town tonight and buy-up all the Doritos and dog biscuits. Set up a stand at Greenrock tomorrow to re-sell them. Go buy a new sled on Tuesday!

Or just show up with a truck load of girl scouts cookies and sell them above retail....

that kinda sucks i hate when its a mad house up there i think that we will unload at albany then and ride over any thouhgts on that
