Heads up on mountain horse maintainance

Check your Allen headed screw that is under your edge of your outer chain case cover. It's the bolt on the end of the idler for the upper chain. Mine was loose. Use red .locktite. Also I am surprised how much water bleeds from the bearings when greasing them. If you grease them SLOWLY and rotate the track when greasing you will not blow the seals.

Pry out an accessible seal carefully and you can scrub the old out with brake cleaner and a tooth brush, replace with Bellray waterproof grease.

I'll second the bellray! good stuff for sure, actually the only grease I use on my toys...
