Freaking everyone else at work is on vacation starting Thursday or you know I'd be there. I even had the pass from the wife.

You might want to check out Utah, they have been getting California's sloppy seconds.
Check the weather and snow reports then all you gotta do is drive.

Screw you! I usually get 10 to 20 days a year in McCall/Cascade and am not going for the first time in years. My buddy/guide lives in Cascade and tells me the snow is thin but not bad. I would tell you about a few spots that you will never find but he will cut me off.

just got back from there last week - snow was great ( compared to here ). Actually , snowed most every night we were there - then nice during the day ! Have fun !!

We were there for the week of the 9th & had a blast. It snowed 4 out of the 5 days. There was a lot of good powder to be found. We tore it up. Have fun.
