Headed to ride CO for first time! 12/9-12/12. Where to go?

It was a 2-moto, not a Dragon and I don't think is. That douchebucket lived in Idaho

My apoligies for asking if it is not him. As one of his other threads is at Silverton Co so I wondered.

That youtube vid really chaps my azz though, makes our argument that snowmobiles do not disturb wildlife hard to make. Real ammunition for greenies. In fact I remember that exact argument that led to Yellowstone Park shutting off private snowmobiles.

Anyways, sorry to hijack thread. Back on topic.

did you watch the video?

There's another one??!!

I watched one last season where a guy was riding a KTM with a 2-Moto and was chasing a coyote through some trees. I also saw one where someone on a 550 fanner trail sled was chasing a yearling cow moose.

Either way, it's wrong. Doesn't do us as sledders any favors.

stingray provided the link to the video in his post?

That one was a snocross race. The one link to the coyote chase has been pulled from youtube. At least the one I saw with the snow bike chase. I hope it's not the same guy, he seemed like a pretty cool guy when he was talking to me about having the 4m ride in Silverton.

My anniversary and wife wants to ride. Little snow here in Idaho so rode trip!
Where should I stay? Kremmling or Steamboat?
Never been in that area so I'm shooting from the hip.
Any advice is greatly appreciated. Also on where to ride would help alot also.
We are both experienced riders. So not looking for trails
Thanks again for the help

How did the weekend go?

Ilove2snowmobile

Rode the rabbit ears pass on the 8th was good snow for an early ride. We stayed in walden co. Watch out for stumps n rocks unless they have more snow now. The snowtel site said they had 32 to34 inches the days we rode so give that a look see.
