Haydays parking

I don't mean to come across rude or anything but what were you expecting at that time of the morning to happen? The party has to shut down eventually:face-icon-small-hap

I don't know about parking at 3 am but last year they had lots of free parking, this year the little bit of free parking was gone before 7 and then they shafted everyone else with $10 to $20 parking. I put up with the mess the first year out there, then last year was real good, this year about ended it for me going again. Not paying $40 to walk around looking at junk for one day. Plus the food venders were really sticking it too you also. $6 for a glass of lemonade and $14 for a small pitcher of beer seemed a little excessive.

Hmmm... So if u owned a surround field there you would let everyone park in ur hay field for free? The snobarons do an amazing job with everything there and this year was even better do to the heat, they keep the grounds clean and stocked and everyone who came to the ski doo booth was having a great time, I guess at these events , like in life u make ur own fun! I stood around all day announcing and talking with awesome people about sleds, riding and fun, I had no shade, took no breaks and had no lunch due to it being busy and had a wicked time!! Thanks to all who came by and looking forward to next year and all the sled shows this fall! Dave

i was told by a couple of vendors that the original contracts were up with the farmers and the farmers came back with wanting a lot more money to use there fields for parking. I don't know if it is true but I do agree that $15 is a bit aggressive for parking and then $20 to get in. I just hope it doesn't get anymore pricey to go in the future or I will make it a every other year item instead of every year.

Wow so for less than a tank of gas in your sled you guys aren't going any more... lmao. I paid $15 to park split between 3 guys and could see the entrance from the truck. Easy as it gets.
And I saved $80 in oil for the year... So I guess the rest of the experience was just a bonus.

Not complaining about paying for parking. It just would have been nice if the lots were open so we could pull in and sleep for a couple hours instead of parking on the shoulder.

really why are you complaining you literaly live like 4hrs away its not their fault you left marshall at 11?

The group I came with ended up spending over $11, 000 on sleds and gear spending $20 on parking was just fine with me. We saved a lot more than that
