Hey guys. Yesterday we were talking to a guy who has a rental fleet of snowmobiles that he takes each year to haydays to sell. He told us that as of right now haydays hasnt received there permit yet to have it this year.
He said there is to be a city council meeting friday to decide if they will get it.
Does anyone know if what this guy is saying is true. A bunch of us guys have plans to go so we are hoping its still going to be on.

Blowing smoke!

I heard of this on dootalk about a week ago. And after that they said they got there permit. Just the news blowing stuff out of proportions. I would check the website if you want the latest news.

www.snobarons.com

Yawn!

This surfaces every few weeks in terms of this permit. From what I have read and heard it's for the new site they are wanting to use, and not the current one they have used for the past 40 years.

The snobarons are running adds in the new snowtech mag so I pretty sure Its going to happen no matter what.

I was by there yesterday and there was nothing going on. Signs where up so it will be on.

picked up the official mag they put out with the vendors and who, what, were. freestyle show again some 4x4 group putting on a show and looks like someone that started and ran the show for snobarrons died and this show is in his name!!its all over the mag!!

One of the guys we work with is a member of the club and said that they do have a permit now but they did not recieve it untill August 13th. Cutting it kinda close......

Usually people are walking around their by 7am in the swap from my expierence. Most vendors show up around 7-8 or so, at least the majority of them. Line ups are starting before sun up in some years.

When does it close each day? Guess times arent important enough to list on their website

I usually hit the gate at 6:30 am.They say your suppose to be out by 5:00 pm. But we leave when we are ready.

where did u get this magazine?

They have a big supplement in the MN USA magazine for members.

As for when they close. Most vendors are done by 5 or 6pm, the swappers are till dark in most cases. I have never been asked to leave and I have been their when the lights were all started up on the towers.

Biggest swap meet for sled parts in the midwest

Moms and dads pack the trailer and sell everything......
