Depends on how much psi is in it. Better check with some Pats fans...

I would say under 40-50* F and the ball is tougher to handle, it also hurts much much more when you get hit at temps there or below. Coldest I ever played was in the 20s and a bit of snow and it hurts wayyyyyyy more than at 50. Cant imagine what playing at negative temps feels like, ouch!

That didn't seem to effect them in the superbowl or their first 10 games this year when they went 10-0 before a slew of inuries.
