Hawk Questions

I was just wondering how they are to ride, whats it like. I ride everything else and have been on sleds since i could walk but i have yet to get on a snow hawk. Rode a snow rabbit from the 80's a quite a bit when i was younger but i think hawks are different. I would imagine them riding like a mix between a dirt bike and a stand up jetski. Looks like fun, i want to try it.

At first its a bit foreign but once you figure it out its awesome.

On packed trails it like riding dirt bike; berms turns and bumps much welcomed. Don't let anyone tell you they are no good on trails because its a lie. Maybe the oldest production Hawks lacked but proven ski upgrades resolved the problems.

In deep powder its a lot like a PWC. You can throw it around side to side with no effort and change direction on a dime.

Bottom Line if you wait to test ride one you will never own one and your test ride if not long enough will leave you with an awkward impression.
I bought mine without ever riding one, leap of faith maybe, knowing it was going to be awesome definitely.

One on ebay as we speak.

hey farmy....

dont wait! the more people that ride them are buying them up....if you can find one grab it unless you have the 20g to buy a new one.if you like riding motorcycles, not atvs, and jet skis(stand ups,not sit downs) you will love the hawk. as said before on hardpack its more like a dirtbike or motorcycle, in the fluffy stuff, its just like a stand up ski. i got to ride one for a few hours before buying one....knowing what i know now...i tell everyone to buy it and get past the learning curve and you will absolute love the machine and its capability...watch vids on youtube. i just posted a bunch of trail riding vids, search snowhawk 503. ask any of us for info,we are here to help.eric

we bought six and never saw one in person

when my brother and I talked about becoming a dealer we had never seen one other than in magazines. Always liked to do things different than the norm so i was pumped about it. After my first ten min. on one I told myself I would never ride a 2 ski again.

I purchased my first one this season and have a lot of fun riding it. Thought I wouldn't keep up to my friends on there sleds but it is the other way around now after putting on about 300 miles and learning how to drive it. I describe it as if you were riding a dirt bike when you drive it on hard pack snow, if your on deep snow then it like a jetski. Just test driving one dosnt justify what it really is like until you get some seat time on it and what it is really capable of doing.

How about getting traction? Are they easy to get stuck in deep snow? I would imagine its not very hard to get unstuck even if they are. They seem to be getting more and more popular.

You ain't kidding!

Look at some of the many Youtube videos, I've viewed all and am constantly searching for that new one, the real entertainment is within the responces, some yayhoo calls it gay etc. and it's on!

Maybe it's denial or just oldschoolers woried about the sanctity of Snowmobiling?

Snow Hawks rock, an idea way ahead of it's time. or "about time" either way the time is "NOW"!
