Hauck airbox mod???

Just wondering if anyone has heard of or even tried the airbox mod that Hauck has out. Not entirely sure what it consists of, other than K&N pods & PL box. I think they have a pipe mod as well, but I won't be going with that. I'm hearing numbers of 10-14 possible HP increase!!!! I know that most places give numbers that are rarely acheivable, but who knows. I know a dealer that has installed one already & the customer said it really seemed to improve the sled.

they recommended the whole kit the claim those hp numbers, i was thinking about it but its $250 for the k&ns, like $300 for the box, and like $800 for the exhaust, me i would rather save the money an put it towards a turbo or super. just my .02

did the exhaust and ram air/fuel accelerator- all worked awesome- all the ram air kit is - is the air box lid with 2 small 3 inch circular vents in them- save your money and get the slp vents and do it yourself- the fuel accelerator and the bigger exhaust and husher pipe are worth the price!!! seems to be close to the 18 hp gain

I'm finding 18 HP tough to believe when Excell is only getting 9 or 10 with his exhaust. I had an Excell pipe on my Vector and the quality is top notch. The picks of the Hauck look a little rougher. How good is it? Have they got any dyno sheets posted anywhere. I do like the fact that it is only 1/2 db louder.

That is what Titus from hauck performance said with all the mods- Ram Air, Fuel Accelerator, Header Pipe, and Husher silencer- i am not sure how they can claim it is only 1/2 db louder unless that is only adding the husher pipe because i think it is quite a bit louder- all my 2-stroke buddies say it sounds awesome!!! definately more than 1/2 louder. Also either order their clutch kit or you must know something about clutching after the mods because won't be able to ride the sled without the rev limiter hitting. i have the MTX so on flat ground i changed the gearing and clutching and have saw 90 mph in 1000 feet on radar. its a great kit just a little pricey but definately a good mod!!
