Hats Off to Iceage

So I was in need of a set of new non cracked TS 137 rails. Called up TS dealer they wanted $USD 877.00 for a set of those crap riveted POS rails with no available delivery date. Called Nick at Iceage, he had my rails and springs to me as promised right on time for half the money and 10x the product. The rails are sooooo much nicer it isn't even funny. Real bumpers, real rail tips and no rivets yada yada.


What a novel concept, good customer service (read here Polaris, time to get your $hit together). Thanks Nick for a job well done.

13,14 and I think 15. I have both but one has been repaired and has started to crack again below the repair so I don't think welding them is the answer even with a gusset.

For everyones information,

The 12-15 kits run the same rails. The stock kits came with IceAge rails in 2012. From 2013-2015 they were a water jetted sheet metal rail. 2016 stock rails are the water jetted sheet metal rails with the BRS spring loaded bump stops which are notorious for having the mounting bolts fall out and crack in half due to lack of support. Also, all of the sheet metal rails do not have an upper rib on them meaning they are not even remotely close to as strong as ours. They also only had very small 'bump stops' which crack and fall off very quickly resulting in a metal on metal bottoming which does not result in the smoothest performance.

Our replacement for all of the year ranges are manufactured from a true, one piece extruded 7000 series aluminum, rail beam. They also include 'real' rubber bump stops. None of the glued on tiny units. Our 2016 models eliminate the BRS system and go to a traditional rubber stop. They feel the same and wont fall off and cause the rail to snap in half.

Love Mine! I decide to go longtrack on my 2014 short and sell my other bike and longtrack kit. The rails came as a complete kit with all hardware, both tensioners, bottom out bumpers, hyfax and rail tips. Very nice kit! Now I can own 1 kit and have long or short track. Install is quick once you know how to do it. Thanks IceAge!

It seems there have been a wave of 2016 kits seeing issues with rail failure lately due to the BRS system coming unbolted or cracking around it due to lack of support.
