I hope this isn't the start of a Civil uproar, this guy was just an idiot. Don't ban guns, ban Vietnamese immigrants. This guy supposedly had registered his guns. This is exactly the ammo, no pun intended, the Dems need to repeal 2nd ammendment rights. I think this is a prime example as to why we all need our gun rights. To bad somebody couldn't get to him befor the coward killed himself.

I'm not saying there won't be more of this, but, to say that this dip $hit was standing up for some sort of civil liberties that had been lost is wrong. He was just another whacked out imigrant like the one that opened fire on those deer hunters in the midwest. Deport them all I say.

And I just read the one you posted. If someone shows up at my door to take away my civil liberties and rights, theres going to be a fight. But these (3) police officers were not doing that. So sad for there families. I think if it came down to it alot of law enforcement wouldn't go door to door taking guns. The few I know are on our side and know that law abiding citizens are safe with ther guns. These killers are cowards. Good topic though Blu, rep to you.

They are going to show that having and carrying a gun is a bad thing.
They intend to show that if you carry a gun, it just makes you a target.
I saw the teaser on it.
The case they set up is a crowded room. The shooter walks in and starts shooting everyone, they show that you don't have time to pull the gun before you get shot.
The problem with that is most shooting cases where there are multiple victums is that the shooter has to move around, this gives you time to draw, aim and fire.
The reason I mention this is because the media is already starting to set the stage on why owning guns is a bad thing.
You will see more and more news stories about how bad guns are.

Thank God that these guys didn't drive into these killings with cars, we would be walking to work. You drink and drive and kill someone and they don't outlaw booze and cars. The government would loose to much money. The government is playing to the ignorant, and most of them don't own guns.

Montana is trying to pass HB 228 "Preserving and Clarifying Laws relating to right of Self Defense and to bear arms"!! I like it!! Looks like it's on the right track.
Civil unrest hasn't started in earnest yet, ACORN is still waiting for their Gov't funding. I don't see any way through the next year or two without some form of substantial unrest. At this point even a small event catalyst could snowball out of control. I think NYC (Wall St.) with be the epicenter of this one. It won't belong before the community agitators above start passing out pipes, chains and gas bombs on their little "executive bonuses" bus tours.

Because the average person is afraid of being the only one.
That is why the government is cracking down on militias. They have been doing that for about 3 years now. The militias are the only opposition that is organized. As long as the government can keep people from getting organized, there will be no real uprising.
If the government was to actually start siezing weapons, you would be terrified to see how many people would just give their weapons up. There would be some that would fight, but they would be labeled crazy and it would be used as further evidence to sieze guns.
Until there is organization, there will be no civil war. There may be civil unrest, but civil unrest won't change anything in washington.

this is my fear^^^ exactly! people want to stay anonymous... look how many people are scared of the goverment knowing if they have guns or not... if one person has their guns seized(unconstitutionally) then all bets are off... anonymity should go right out the door. if we are not going to help our neighbor and would rather hold on to our guns in anonymity then the government has already won... everything else is just a mere formality. whats the point of having guns if your going to try and stay anonymous or worse yet hand them over. ollie your point of some fighting and them being labeled 'crazy' is exactly how its going to go down. as you stated, no organization no victory!

Too many people are actually listening to the media to get news. They believe what they are told.
Let me give you a scenerio.
The libs are desperately trying to pass amnesty. They are trying to do it under the guise of kids. Of cource their idea of kids is anyone under the age of 35 that has been in the country since they were 18.
Whats the big deal with amnesty?
The last time they granted amnesty 80% of those granted amnesty voted dem. They still vote dem. If they can get 12 million illigals amnesty, that gives them over 10 million additional dem votes. Then take into account anyone who gets amnesty can bring in their family members (ALL of their family members). By all accounts the dems would pick up over 50 million votes within 5-8 years.
So what?
Palosi is currently trying to get a bill put together to do away with the electoral colege. She wants to go with a straight popular vote. If they can get that thru, along with amnesty, the dems will control washington for as long as there will be dems.

This is only going to get worse. I don't see it getting better.
So we have 2 distinct camps.
As to what will set it off.
When the divide gets so bad that the conservatives feel there is no hope to recover, then there will be civil unrest. When that doesn't get them the changes they want. then and only then will there be any kind of revolt.
The amnesty thing will push it close, but I don't know if it will be enough. Currently with the number of americans out of work I don't know if the dems will be stupid enough to try and push it thru. they will test the waters with the amnesty for illigal "childeren" to see if they can get it thru.
Expect to see comercials denouncing guns and gun owners. It will take a couple years to start to really turn public opinion, but it IS coming.
The dems are laying the ground work.
They are expanding government control.
They are taking over the financial institutes.
They are changing the corperate atmoshpere and getting people to think it is a good idea.
Sit back and look at all the stuff they are doing and the stuff they are proposing to do.
It is all about control. If they can get enough control they can do pretty much anything they want. Who is going to blow the whistle on em? The media.
