These things look pretty cool.... I like the adjustability feature for setups and then trim for final.

I know a lot of regular "zip" ties can and have cut into the insulation on the Polaris sled harness'.

A bit pricey... but I really don't skimp on cable ties.

HMMM.

Great find. They will be my next purchase.

Those ridges also look like rubbing points since they're raised.

make JJ_0909 try them first.

I actually think these are way cooler for mountain biking...no more frame scuffing when you are too lazy to route your cables internally ;)

Was definitely thinking the same.

dibs on the idea to buy all the pretty colors and sell them at a huge markup to the color coordination crowd.

Here is a great write up from Diamond Dave from the past.

The "teeth" of the ties actually cuts into the wires.... the polaris stuff is pretty soft and not resistant to abrasion very well.

This is where I think these would shine... especially on the handlebars and engine.. where a lot of "buzz" vibration is going on.

I've ordered a few packs of these.

Another thing to watch out for...The factory wire ties that hold the hand grip heater wiring to the bars is wearing through the black protective coating causing the wires to short out to the bars. The wire ties are way too tight.

Another area of concern I noticed while dealing with this problem is the insane amount of corrossion in the electrical connectors for the hot grips from the main wiring harness.

The pics were hard to get good but it will give you an idea of what is happening.
