Has anyone thrown the new iron on a scale yet?

Hey you would know.
Skidoo boy's always know the heavy side of things.

i would know what, weight watchers? nahhh, i jump on my heavy, reliable sled and ride the snot out of it.

Says the Ski-Doo guy. Weight doesn't matter right? :face-icon-small-dis

where did i say that? :nono:

i enjoy when guys lighten up their polaris. it makes them easier to tow out when they're broke down haha. but seriously.....i hope that new motor they put in the 16s works out better than, well, any 800 polaris has put in a sled in the past 10+ years. my 2 year sled rotation will be due for a new steed in the stable. maybe ill own one next year.

Thanks for posting up the weights! So how much more does a 163x3 weigh? If it's 25lbs diff between the T3 163 and 155x3 Axys, is it safe to say the "apples to apples" weight difference is 20 lbs between the 163 3 inchers?

Thoughts?

800 155 2.6 track weighs in at 512.6 fully wet. Couldn't add another drop of oil or gas.
497.6 with a silber titanium can (that fits like garbage)

Was this a PRO RMK, Assault, or SKS? Beltdrive or chaincase. Supposedly the beltdrive PRO's with the 2.6" 155" track are 408# dry, and the 3" 155" are 421#, that's 13# difference. But in real life, wet weights are 517# vs 512# which is 5# difference... That's assuming this is a beltdrive sled.

You would need to weight each sled on the same scale to get difference. Whatever the difference is dry it will be the same wet unless you think they have a smaller gas or oil tank on a 3" chain case sled.
Each scale will be different by a few #'s

Mine was a pro rmk(belt drive) with fox evols. They weigh .25 less than the stock walker Evans (not the fancy clickers).

Also curious on what the fuel tank size is as I added an honest 40 litres(10.5gallons) to what it shipped with.

Same scale with a 15 pro on it anyone? In the same level of 'stockness'??

Good stuff gentlemen, thanks!

All I know is I go out to the garage every morning and lift the front and/or rear of my 16 and it makes me giggle how much lighter it is over my 15 or 14 :face-icon-small-ton

make sure it's the sled, and not your recently lightened wallet thats playing mind games with you :smow:

You say that like Doo hasn't had 800 motor problems.

It's amazing that we have a sled that is under 500lbs WET with just a can. My first sled was a 2004 vertical escape 159 that I'm quite sure was 540lbs DRY. Owned all the brands and all of them can break.
