talked to guy at my dealer he told me to modify my stock y pipe. he said the stock one is just crimped in the middle. if you heat it up with a torch an work out the crimp, smooth it is the same as a aftermarket one. Has anyone done this . makes sense to me.

Yes I have seen one but don't know how it worked. It's still not the same as aftermarket ones. Aftermarket ones have bigger diameter and corners are more fluent in them. Here's pic of my Y-pipes (stock CF7 and D&D).
