Has anyone found a can to work with a RKT 830 yet?

Since building my 830 per the instructions it stated not to use an aftermarket can. By the sounds on some of the 830 vids that I have been watching people have some exhaust. I was just wondering what kind of setup they have (silencers or pipes) and if it has helped? I would love to get that huge muff out of this thing to lighten it up. I dont care too much for loud and annoying, but a little rumble is cool.

Thanks

LOL... Kelsey will tell you till he is blue in the face that his kit will lose at least 10 hp with ANY pipe or can etc... I understand why he says that (liability if something happens with the set up that he tells you, it will cost big time... if you don`t stick to TOTAL stock, it will not be his fault.... there are so many variables that he can`t control that he refuses to play in that game)

Now that being said, I am running a Dynoport single and Dynoport can and and like it... power and sound... my buddy is also running Kelsey`s engine and is running stock pipe with MBRP can with no problems... he is also looking for a Dynoport pipe more so for the sound, weigh savings and clean look that you get with a ceramic coated single...

Hope that helps! Kelsey may pipe in here to comment on this as well as he mods this area...

I'm running twin JAWS race pipes with canister silencers. Kelsey did not test with this set up, but I will. Just make sure the engine is getting oil, watch your jetting and cylinder temps. It has to work. I think the whole set up with the twin ring pistons is a great improvement over stock. I'll let you know how it runs in the next 2 weeks.

I premix my oil due to a cracked tank, and the assurance that im getting oil. Exhaust temps stay right where they need to be. I do love the motor. That thing is a torque monster.

Thanks for the help guys. I think im going to stick with a can and go from there.

I am running decker twins on his setup and it is fast. It took a little longer to dial it in but they work. You probably cannot even buy them any more?
