I NEED DIRECTIONS!!!
eric what are you doing this sat?
Where did you unload? How bad were the rocks?
We drove probably 8 miles up 5400 past the yellowjacket snopark. DO NOT TAKE A TRAILER up there right now, sled deck only. The rocks were not to bad had to just pick your way around them and watch where you were going. I thought it was worth it, got the first ride in didn't hurt my sled so it was all good. Hwy 20 is still open so the drive isn't as bad as going around. Just turn north into Mazama off hwy 20 take left at the Tee go up lost river rd (which turns into fsr 5400) until you hit enough snow to unload!
Do your homework, it's a very small riding area surrounded by wilderness.
No kidding!!!! The bowl on the other side of slate peak was so, so, so inviting. But, wrong side of the boundry......
Did you go past the mines up by the yurt?
Holy crap thats almost winthrop! Thats a long Arse way for a road ride. Good to know it's doable though.
im still pondering
i got the shakes
Has anyone gone up to harts lately? A guy on youtube told me there was people riding up there, before this I never heard of harts pass. My dad and I were almost leaning towards going to Mtbaker or idaho just to snowmobile. Im in the chelan area and am very willing to make the trip just to ride. All in all, how is it up there now? Wonderground.com told me there was about 25" up there on december 8th.
