hartman 144 kit help!!!

ok so i bought an 09 nytro rtx that had a hartman 144 kit installed. the guy that i bought it from had moved the skid around a bunch from what it looks like. he butchered the rear drop brackets and the front looked like swiss cheese. ok so i called hartman up and ordered new front plates, rear drop brackets, instructions , and hardwear. well i took the old plate and drop bracket off one side. as i started looking thru the instructions it appears as though im supposed to use the factory brackets to locate where the new ones go? anyhow they are long gone and where the old ones(the hacked up hartman stuff) are dont appear to be in the proper location.can anyone tell me, or show me on a diagram on where to put the brackets?
also i heard that this kit really makes the sled hard to steer? if so is there a cure? my 14yr old son will be riding this nytro and id like to make it ride good for him... after all i stole the supercharger off of it :face-icon-small-hap!!!!! lol
thanks in advance for the help!!!!!!!

i can give you pics of an 08 mtx if it helps...not sure how different they would be. but, damn i hope your son is a 14 yr old body builder. im 5'6" 142lbs, can bench 210lbs, and sometimes my 08 mtx kicks my arse! but i know if he can handle it, he will LOVE it. as far as the steering, you can play with the front skid shock a little to offset the weight for steering. my nytro is still stock, so im not exactly sure how yours would differ (other than being 100% better of course). you should be able to find some good help around here... they can be a little slow... but they are good!

hey thanks man. i scratched the hartman kit, and went with tracks usa rail extensions. going back to the stock mounting locations. should handle nice. thanks for lookin that up for me.
