Harley cans

When I lived in Sandpoint, Idaho a few of my freinds had them. I think they got them from a guy in spokane. They are very loud. I would not own one, you have to ride with ear plugs.

Please Donot Buy One

They are VERY LOUD and annoying to other people within a couple mile range, no horsepower gain but you will save alittle weight, if you want to piss people off you ride with or other ridders buy one, but personally I wish they never were made MADDOGWFO

x3, loud as all f'in get out. When we got the wife's 99 the guy threw in a Harley can with it, and after the mice decided to build a nest in the muffler one summer I had to throw it on for a ride or two... talk about ear bleeding loud! In the pow it was OK, on the trail it would make you absolutely nuts.

I wouldn't get anything that loud. Colorado will soon have a noise ordinance and you can be ticketed for loud cans. Beyond that, you are just hurting our sport and grabbing the wrong peoples attention.

i have one on my 2000 rmk 600, been there sense i bought it, it is VERY loud but i dont mind it. if you like loud sleds then go for it!
i did a post on this same topic, i was just woundering were they were made and i found out just acouple hours away!
but if you dont like loud, it is not for you, my oppinion is that its one of the loudest out there.

Do they call them harley cans because they are loud like open pipes on Harleys?
They call them Harley cans because they are Harley open pipes! Take a Harley glasspack style muffler, weld an elbow on the top to connect to your sled pipe and a fitting on the bottom where it goes through the belly pan, add a spot for a mount and you've got yourself a Harley can.

does any one have a video so i can hear one of these

if you want a nice can. try the HPS. i love mine if im just cruz`n its not loud. but pin it and it puts out a bark..if it`s loud all the time it will drive you and everyone nuts, its nice to keep it a little mild(like loading it on the truck at 6 am..:D i ride a harley with open pipes,it`s not a 2 stroke reving 8000rpm,

I dont know if this helps you out much but a guy i sled with from Spokane put a harley can on his Dragon 800 and it made it run like absolute ****! I dont know if it was the lack of back compression or what but when he switched back to the stock can it ran great.

i just bought one and put it on my 2003 polaris 800 pretty loud but i like it. it seems to have a little more horswepower to. i bought it and the guy said it is suppose to add up to 9 hp. he dino tested them.
