The big question now for all you guys what is the best mod for adding some POWER to this 700?
Any idea what those WKRP boards will sell for? I am in the middle of a tunnel project and fully intend to install or make something like these!
The others will clear the snow fine _ I am sure, but I ***_u_me that these tie in on the side of the tunnel for support as well?
Also - I don't understand "dropping the tunnel 1"."
What does that mean?
You dropped the rear suspension an inch maybe?
.
Updating to the piveting riser was by far the best mod I ever did to my 700.
By the way Cntrvl sledder I don't think your gonna like the painted arms and tunnel, snow is very much like sandpaper and it won't look that nice for very long IMHO. The boss seat was a good upgrade also but not as nice as the risers. As you can see I need better boards or something next. Also when I get in some really deep powder it starts to bog down then comes out of it when I hit some ones track any ideas there?
Okay I want to add some play to my sled over the summer here is what I am running now. But I wanna know what will put the cherry on the cake!
2002 Summit 700

You could change your gearing. I went from my stock 19/43 (high mark) to a 17/48. You may think thats a little too low but I like it, gets your track turning in a hurry. Rips from 0 to 50! Great for deep powder, slow speed torque is great and i can crawl at 5mph through the trees without slipping my belt. It will still pull 78mph fully shifted out on the road. I dont miss stock gearing at all. Im sure my belt temps are lower, it runs higher on the primary so more grip, less slip. Anyway my two cents
What is everyone geared at ????
