anyone got shocks seats ur rear suspension pieces forsale?

for what it would take to make it better you could save the money sell the sled put the money together and buy something better.

theres several dragon 700s and revs for around 5g but i off work for 2 months again. ive completely rebuilt the 700s engine. id like to find a cheap edge roller bc that 700 rips!! i could get a tops of 2600$ for it.

how do set the suspension up properly? it has a harsh jarring ride as it probably needs shocks!. for an old machine i keep up with my friends newer rmk's and apex's but on the trail its harsh

I hate to say it but I had that same sled and I'm not sure you can do a lot to make the ride better. I did not have an aftermarket skid on but that is just one big chunk of metal. It was a good sled but the suspension just wasn't great. I did remove the sway bar and that helped a great deal (gave the front more wobble). Suspension setup will help but it's nothing compared to todays IFS sleds.

get rid of the ex10 get a extra lite 151 skid and track much better ride

ya i removed them! i could use frt shocks as the rf is seized! also looking for a 144 skid an track! in alberta so shipping be cheap

I know this sounds stupid but take the shocks off and grease all of the front suspension pieces well. Put the front of the motor "pan" tunnel area on top of a few cement blocks and see how the suspension moves. Mine was so tight that it wasn't letting the trailing arms move very far. It was actually holding the shocks in a slightly compressed position. With the shocks off of the sled I cycled the the suspension up and down quite a bit. I also lubed up the trailing arm pivot on the belly pan. That alone made a big difference. I increased the free movement without the shocks on by about four inches. Now with the shocks on I have a lot of "droop" to the front suspension. Hit the gas and you can watch the skis drop down into full extension. Made the front suspension act much better!

i went through it all awhile ago and greese it 3 times a yr on average.. the rf shock is dented and bent an leaked out.
