Handlebar Hand Mitts?

mitts and stuff

after trying several brands of mitts and making some myself I tried a set of of GIANT LOOP hand guards, thought they were just too simple and.........well three years later on my snowbike and dirt bike, really superior hand protection.

I thought I needed warm looking insulation, not so much. I ride in MX gloves, Handy Andy's, light bow hunting gloves, rubber faced utility gloves, all work. Big goofy looking GIANT LOOPS break the wind, keep the snow away, I don't even worry about hand warmers any more.

I use the Powermadd's on both of my snow bikes. They are stiff enough that the openings stay open and provide easy and quick access to your controls on both sides. They fit over my Cycra handguards. They work great.

Did you see them in Utah?

Saw some guys with some nice handlebar hand mitts last year, now I can't seem to find the ones they were using. I remember them saying they were $35 from Rockymtnatv, but I can't find them.

They aren't these ones either
Tusk Mitts

Any ideas?

These are from Rocky Mountain they are ATV logic.
I UN-stitched then put some holes in with a Soldering Iron for 2 Zip Ties.
Now they Install with the provided Velcro strap and 2 Zip-ties over Crycra hand Guards.:face-icon-small-coo

Bet those may go over the fastway handgaurds too, the Cycras are a bit smaller than the fastways. Hmmm can you post a better picture of what you did I like how those are way open.

Come on isn't everything in life a calculated risk vs reward.

I think we all agree that no hand guards are safer when you go over the bars.
Next safer open ended.
I have to have closed ended guards pointing down as much as I dare for leg clearance for snow biking. With the hand warmers installed I would have to disagree on being more dangerous. The cheap ATV logic I run are pretty open after being un-stiched as previous posted. Helping keep your hands warm and dry so you can hold on far out-weighs the the risks for me.:face-icon-small-coo

Agreed that was a bad picture. They are off the bike right now. They are real tight on Cycra. Being un-stiched I'm Sure they would go on Fastways.

I have a set of powermadds and only use them in extreme cold. I don't really care for having my hands in something so far,but can't deny how warm they are. Last year I switched to the giant loop Bushwackers over my existing hand guards (which I think are what catsledman was talking about) and I love them. Just keeping the windblast and snow off makes such a huge difference , and if you don't need them on, unbuckle the pronghorn strap and throw them in your pack or bag. It was hard to take off and stash the powermadds when it got warmer.

Here is a pic of the giant loops from behind. (disregard the dangling heated grip wire. Was still in the process of securing. Ha.)
