Handle bars on standard rmk

Does anybody have any input on differant bars for a standard rmk without switching out the hole steering post.

I don't know why you would switch out the steering post to change the bars unless you really want to have the Pro style riser which in my opinion narrows down your option and is not as crash proof(the double pivot will fold down if you roll it bad). Just bolt on new bars and/or a riser. There's a lot of options out there. Look at skinz. They have a few different styles and heights to choose from.

Current bars are a little tweaked and just dont like the angle all that much. I have a 2012 Pro also and like the bend of them and just looking for somthing similar for the standard.

IMO...the Pivot post top is the best post.

The setup that I really like is the RSI 10 Degree race bar.

Grips... RSI Tacky grips (get a few pair... good grips are a "consumable" part.

The other thing that I'm really liking in the bars is "Bar Buzz Kill" ... it helps to dampen vibes in the bar which cuts down on fatigue for me.

On the 2011, run the 2013 Throttle RMK/PRO-RMK block and get a ski doo kill-switch mount.

Before cutting or mounting the heaters and grips... bolt on the brake and throttle blocks and play with the width until you get it right for yourself.. then cut and install the hooks... Factor in the hooks to the whole setup before your cut the bars.

There is also a great write up on "corking" your handwarmers on aluminum bars... I like the 1/16" cork...

Good luck.

As an alternate... on a budget...and you want to keep the stock riser, you can go with the RSI 2"-rise Cromoly bars that match the stock rise but have the the same 10 degree bend and upsweep as the Burant Bars.. which are closer to the stock PRO-RMK bend but with a bit better ergos.

These are high-quality Cromoly steel with a very nice finish.

You can use your stock bar hooks as well.

29.5" wide with plenty of room on the bar to move the controls inward and trim if you choose.
