Having problems with hand warmers on 06 900 not getting as hot as they used too.Is there a way to check the volts to see if there getting the right volts at the grip

I am guessing 1 set of "windings" isn't working. They have 2 printed circuits on the warmer. On low 1 heats up, on high both get power and heat up so you get twice the heat. It is not a matter of how much power per say that goes to them but if both circuits are getting juice. Probably a broken wire at the grip or one of the leads may be loose at the switch. Switch will have power in on 1 lead and out on 1 when switched to low and out on both when on high.

i would bet your warmers are just worn out/broken wire. time to replace. get RSI and youll be happy.

Both grips heat the same if broken wire only one grip would be dead will have to check wires at the switch
Check your ground too
