Hand holds for little kids?

Anybody have any ideas for handholds for taking the kids on their sleds?

I have taken my 4 year old boy on a few short runs and he just hangs on to my mountain strap. Looking to do something down lower so he can be more comfortable, but still be able to hang on effectively.

Its the only use i see for a mountain bar.
Might as well keep using it.

Seriously tho
Doesnt powermadd or somebody make a mountain bar that reverses to drop lower?

Edit.

Thanks guys, some good ideas. After seeing the one with the kid strapped to his mom, this is all I could think of...

I had a factory Polaris tank bag that buckled down to the base layer. When I took the kid, the bag was too big so I took it off. I made the hand holds over a heavy pad so they wouldn't bang their hands into the tank. They typically used one loop and the other hand on the mountain bar. This would allow them to pull down to the tank to keep from bouncing all over but they could still keep from being bumped into the handle bars by hanging on up high too.

It also acted like a saddle horn for them to grab when climbing up on the sled.

I hope its on a 11-12 pro. I can barley fit on my 14 seat by myself, knees to the dash there is 3" behind me

ALTERNATIVE IMPACT BUDDY BARS

Alternative Impact "buddy Bars"... avail with heaters or w/o... would be easy to fit to the Polaris.

Just bought these^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^last week

Nice quality product with full wrap around hot grips, comes with hi-low switch for hot grips, gotta figure out mounting it and wire it in, that's all

One single bolt for mounting/adjusting for E-Z on / off which is a plus

Looking to try it out soon and will post feedback from my 9-year old daughter

I took my 6 year old out last weekend. He just loved it, he used the mountain strap. I have a 13 seat, I was standing most of the time (who uses the seat when riding in the mountains:face-icon-small-dis). When I would get on the throttle in about 2' of fresh, I used my legs to help support him, worked perfect. He just loved carving through the powder, lots of fun.

Those harnesses that Chris posted IMO would be a nightmare trying to powder bash. Not for the way we ride anyways. taking him out again this weekend. I am going to buy those Buddy Bars, they will work perfect.

Problem I see with this setup is they cant stop themselves from face planting into the handle bars. Better to have them in the same position as if they were actually operating the sled.

That is why they rode with one hand down and one up. With both loops, they could alternate hands if they liked.

Ideal, I don't know, but it was my solution and it worked.

This is exactly what happens to my 5 year old grandson when he hangs on to the mountain strap. There's nothing for him to push against so on any sudden stop or jolt such as going over a large bump he face plants into the bars.

I really like the look of those handlebars. That would be the ticket if you could make them easy to take on and off. A couple of wingnuts and a plug in for the heaters perhaps?

Buy 'em their own!!!

I will! I have a buddy with 5 Sno Scoots that have been sitting up on pallet racks for the last 15 years. Next year hopefully 2 will be mine.
